Basalt Sanitation District

Acting as the Engineer of Record for a sanitation district serving 1,000 customers.

The Basalt Sanitation District is a Title 32 Special District that is governed by a Board of Directors and currently serves 1,000 customers (1,560 EQRs). Sanitation Districts typically require Service Plans, Annual Audits, and Annual Budgets. RFE serves as an extension of the District, as the Engineer of Record, helping to navigate necessary planning, infrastructure, treatment and permitting requirements.

RFE provides the District with the required information to produce yearly, five- and ten-year budgets for capital projects, operation and maintenance items, and future improvements. RFE also designs and performs construction administration for all the District’s sanitary sewer and wastewater treatment plant improvement projects
