The project includes 500,000 square feet of residential (both free market and affordable) and commercial space. Roaring Fork Engineering was responsible for the civil design to obtain final plat and construction documents for the project. RFE designed the deep utility infrastructure including water, sewer, and stormwater mains, provided road and site design for all major corridors, trails and sidewalks, shallow utility design and retaining wall design.
RFE designed a new connection for Willits Lane and a frontage road connection to SH 82, an existing pedestrian underpass connection with CDOT right of way and RFTA bus stop, and design of fiber optic connections within SH 82 for the traffic signals to work with the new Tree Farm entrance. The water connection required directional bore under the highway permitted through CDOT and RFE lead the permitting process through CDOT.
