Taylor, originally from Nebraska (Go Huskers!), joined Roaring Fork Engineering in 2025 after 13 years with large consulting firms, working on water resources projects across the country. With a bachelor’s degree in Biological Systems Engineering and a master’s in Civil Engineering, he has contributed to stormwater master plans, floodplain modeling, irrigation systems, and drainage design.
In 2023, Taylor took the train to Glenwood Springs for a vacation — and like many who fall under the valley’s spell, he never left. He fell in love with the Roaring Fork Valley’s natural beauty, mountain lifestyle, and endless outdoor opportunities.
Outside of engineering, Taylor feels a deep connection to nature and can usually be found fly fishing, hiking, camping, or, on occasion, bull riding. He brings a steady, grounded presence and a love for the land to every project he works on.
